March 2021 - Bird skull box - by Olga Heldwein

I am still learning and experimenting with some art rules but as I’m creating usually I do follow my own rules that I did set up for myself to avoid crafty dissepiments. I try to avoid central symmetrical composition, I do not start using new products till I test them and know them well. And this time I decided I will give it a try as new goodies were so tempting and central composition filled nice the lid of the box. I used new Jewel paste just straight up from the  box just opened it and try it out different ways to see how it will look and I’m in love with the sparkling finish it gives and amazing texture. 

I also used my very firsts casts with resin leftovers with metal  flakes and I’m soon in love with them !! That also includes another part of the challenge trying new technique and I would call mine “ Just go for it what do you have to loose ?” I absolutely love the pallet and all possibilities it has and how many of them are on my favorite grungy style of crafts..
