March 2021 - Make your first step - by Lisa Rabellino

Hi creative souls, 

It's Lisa here on the blog with my take on the March Moodboard and a beautiful teal-orange color combo! this month's theme is breaking the rules and changing perspective, and we know how it's easy to break the rules in creativity and art because our imagination is endless and boundless.

I started my page differently from my usual way, out of my comfort zone. I used Deep Turquoise and Tiger Orange Liquid Acrylics separately on the page and when dry I glued a piece of lace to separate the two areas.

Later I made a stencil with Finnabair Paper Texture Paste so that the white color stood out over the background and so I made a little stamping with black archival ink. I made many splatters with White Titanium Liquid Acrylic. 

I added some paper elements from Art Daily Sentiments booklet, a flower and Finnabair Mechanicals to build the focal point of my project.

Finally I made other splatters with Dragon's Eye Art Alchemy Paint to add more contrast and light on my project.
