October 2020 - Be different - by Lisa Rabellino

Hi creative souls!
Lisa today with you with a new art journal spread inspired by this rich October Moodboard and its earthly shades of brown.

Autumn is a new beginning in nature. It is not the end. Many elements fall asleep to reborn stronger and more beautiful than before. I really like the quote that reads:
"Anyone who thinks fallen leaves are dead has never watched them dancing on a windy day"
This is so true!

I worked on this project thinking about this endless energy, that surrounds us and that is part of the same matter of our immortal souls.

To start my page I glued a piece of patterned paper and I glued various pieces of old laces to make a collage. I brushed clear gesso and so I added Liquid Acrylic Umber to colore my background with a watercolor effect. I made a little stamping with archival ink and I chose my composition.

This month’s theme asked to use also a dried plant in the project, so I chose to put some dried leaves behind my focal point.

I finally added some white liquid splatters and quotes from Art Daily Sentiments booklet.

I hope you enjoyed my art daily inspiration for this month
Hugs
