February 2021 - Same but different - by Aga Baraniak

Aga's here. This month February general theme is Celebration of contrasts which was tearing me from the inside as I had no idea how to interpret it. As I love to use creativity embedded in my defiance I let my imagination do the job. The saying "No thing exists without the contrast" made the work for me. I decided to make the reverse but the same 2 pages of the journal which was not an easy task. Supposedly the same but different.
I used impasto which allows to Mix the layers after drying the first of them. It provides good fun and a beautiful final effect. Additionally I used the same stickers from..... set, stamps and other extras which I was trying to put exactly in the same place of the page reverse. Moreover, I made the task a little more difficult as I put the other journal side upside down.
I hope you will like my inspiration and it will inspire you to make something special.
