February 2021 - Living Passionately - by Lisa Rabellino

Hi creative souls, 

It's Lisa here on the blog with my take on the fabulous February Moodboard and its vibrant color, red!

The Red color make me think about life and passion.

I chose to work on the contrast with a photo of a young woman in a white and romantic dress, and her deeply sentiments about living a life full of passion and desire.

I started my pages with a little collage of pieces of laces. Over that I made some stenciling with Finnabair Modelling paste and I coloured the background with Poppy Red Impasto Paint and Carmine Liquid Acrylic with a little bit of water.

Once dry I sponged white gesso here and there and I made stamping with black archival ink.

I added some paper elements from Art Daily Vintage Photobook and flowers that I cutted from Abstudio paper collection.

Finally I made splatters with Ink Black Liquid Acrylic to add more contrast and drama to my project.
