December 2018 - MOMENTS - inspiration by Tanyalee Kahler

Hi there Art Daily adventurers. I hope you had the happiest of holidays and you are ready to see in the new year. I am joining you on the blog today to share how I have been using the Art Daily kit and inspiration cards to keep a journal of my life. For the spread I am sharing I used card number 20: What were your favourite moments this week.

I’m using one of the inserts included in the kit and I started by adding a layer of clear gesso as I knew I was going to use ink in the colour of the month … gold.

I pooled the gold ink on the page and used a misting spray to let it dribble down the page. I sponge it on the page and then started doodling all of the events from the week that I would like to record in my journal. I used my favourite black fineliner pen.

I love how versatile the Art Daily kit is to record these kinds of memories. And the prompt cards are the perfect way to keep inspired with such a wide variety of prompts available. What were your favourite moments of the week?
