Hi, dear Art Daily Cafe friends!

What do you think of this month´s mysterious theme?

Personally, I loved playing with opaque and translucent layers inside my artbook! I mixed a little bit pf both in my media and ephemera. 

First of all, I covered the pages with smokey blue acrylic paint, which I had to mix myself, because it is a rather complicated (but beautiful!) shade of blue! Then, I added an ornament to the whole background and heat embossed it, using some clear embossing powder. The ornament was now the best visible if I bended the pages a bit to catch the proper light.

The embellishments include also a combination of opaque and transparent layers. This is such a joy to play with the materials of different thickness and translucency! I can totally recommend this creative adventure!
