December 2020 - Taste of the Magic - by Finnabair
Hi, my Artistic Souls!
No matter what, there is real magic in December, it is the time when miracles happen! Maybe it is because of our memories, accumulated through the years - times spent with our loved ones, family and friends? Maybe these are the lights, music and the smell of delicious food, which we only eat during this time? Or maybe it is this feeling which is filling our hearts to the brim comes from the fact December is the end of the year and brings us hope and promise the next year is going to bring something new into our lives, something better...We all have our answers for that, I think.
My end of November and beginning of December was a hard time - but once we've started decorating the house, we've put the lights up and my home looked and welcoming - my heart started to fill with these warm, happy emotions... it is not pure joy as it is more bittersweet than that, but it is a kind of magic for sure. I've tried to translate these feelings onto the canvas I've made for you - and I hope you can see it!
For many of us, this will be very unusual, surprising Christmas time. Not what we hoped for and what we wanted... but on the other hand, we are the ones who can create this special atmosphere, we can find the joy in the small things we usually take for granted - it is just the matter of the perspective! Magic is within us - we just need to call it out and find a way to shine, again and again - for others and - for ourselves.
I wish you all that you are able to see this magic inside and outside of you and let the miracle of December happen again - like the years before. No matter what.
