December 2020 - Never stop creating - by Vasilis Kontos

December the month of Christmas of joy of hope that one more year finish and one new comes that brings hope for better life .Unfortunately this year find the humanity isolated because of happen something that the past we watch at the movies and never believe we could see happens in reality.

     My inspiration is based in a city or a dreamy city that  travels in our dreams and hopes. Because one city is one community and the communities united make miracles. Because sometimes the miracles happen but sometimes we create the miracles.

    My city is made with different stencils from the Finnabair collection and 3d gloss gel. The sand paste gave a texture to the homes of the city. After the impasto has the main role in pink and purple shades. The new colors from liquid acrylics the crimson and nude give more colors to the composition. The burn sienna and the umber follow for make more dramatic and shades to the panel. A lot of layers of white gesso  gives the snowy effect and the project begin more shabby. To the end the golden rose wax the aged brass and old silver gives the highlights to the project.

     But the magic and the miracle happens when I add the new effect paste phoenix and crushed ice.

In the middle the new tissue paper from the collection Minis ladies world complete all the project.

25 December from the ancient year was the date of a new beginning ,that something new is born in the nature ,the sun change everything is reborn. Lets hope dear crafters that something new is born something good for the humanity something that bring us all again together!!
