June 2020 - Mistakes change us - Marina Ignatova
In high school, I really liked to draw. Almost every movie or anime watched, a book I read, was drawn in pencil by me.
Since then, so much time has passed and here is the June Challenge at the ART Daily Cafe and it is dedicated to drawing. And again the liner in my hand …
I created new pages in an art journal. I love this feeling of freedom from creativity in this format!
So, for starters, I used the collage technique and stuck pieces of the old puzzle onto my pages. Then I applied texture paste with sand and white crackle. I stamped a little and spent my time mentally drawing a wolf face.
The quote of the month made me think and inspired: 'Mistakes are almost always of a sacred nature. Never try to correct them.' Salvador Dali. Mistakes change us. Sometimes they make them stronger, sometimes they break. How do they affect your character and who do you become on the path to change? ...
