February 2020 - Tired of crying - by Kasia Bogatko
Using a word has never been my strong point. I don't like writing posts, I've never written poems. That is why this challenge was very difficult for me. However, when I started and opened an old book, the words came together very quickly. I started with a depressing verse, that was my mood. I was surprised that after all my eyes caught this optimistic ending. It would seem that these are random words. But there is a bit of me in them - despite the harder moments, I always see this optimistic light.
The words are in Polish, and here is my translation:
tired of crying and regretting
lived in numbness
summer has come
a ray of hope fell
Even if this theme seems difficult to you, try it. Open a book, magazine and let yourself be carried away by words.
