Today I decided to use acrylic paints, gesso, powders, and hot wax.

I like working with wax, although it has its own requirements for media. The light colour of the project allowed for delicacy, transparency and thus it is more meaningful to me. 

I made it on the material from which the entire journal is sewn by hand. I secured the surface with a thick layer of gesso, which allowed me to work with wax.
