September 2021 - Dream it - Maria Lillepruun
Dear Art Daily Fans!
This is Maria Lillepruun with you today, for the last time in the nearest future. I decided to step down from this wonderful team for a little while, but I am still a fan of this beautiful artistic blog and art journaling, of course!
This month childhood topic is rather difficult for me. My personal childhood was pretty ok, I think. I cannot say it was happy, but there was not anything truely terrible too. Still, I have some old time skeletons and ghosts to fight, some open gestalts to close, so this is probably the reason I chose black as the background for "my childhood".
I like volumous decorations, collage is a difficult technique for me. But I found a fun solution! I took some photos of scrapbooking embellishments and flowers, and cut out the images out of the printed photos! I mixed them with my picture as a little girl, some quotes and some fussy cut elements that I found in an old scrapbooking magazine. In the end, this was a very fun project to work on!
