July 2021 - Luxurious Box - Nuneka Box

Hi there! It’s Nuneka here. 

Black & Luxury. How cool! I thought when I saw July Art Daily moodboard. But what it’s luxury? To me it’s something so relative… that I decided to create a piece open to interpretation. l altered a box and hid something inside that could contain whatever you can imagine, whatever luxury is to you: happiness, peace, health... What makes it luxurious is the fact of being unique, or very rare. As to me, those are the true luxuries of life.

And how challenging is this moodboard, right? Because making a project mainly black it’s not so easy!! At least to me… so I gave myself permission to add some color to my piece, even though the most important one is the black, as it’s what creates all the contrast when working with waxes.
