September 2020 - Season of the Fall - by Finnabair

 Hi my dear friends!

This month's inspiration - "Season's Change" couldn't more on time! 

September in Ireland is the month when you can see the end of Summer with the last warm, sunny days and the beginning of Autumn, with mists, grey clouds and morning dew making your feet wet till late afternoon.

Although Summer is my favourite season, I love watching the changes in nature - and also in us all. Autumn has totally different energy - and my project is a tribute to the meeting point of these two seasons, which is happening right now. 

One of the things that inspired me to create this altered book was a bunch of dry flowers I could see from the window in my studio - and thanks to the paints and wax it changed into a bit mysterious, a bit magical object! There is so much beauty around us every day!
